2. What are cookies?

a) Strictly necessary cookies

Examples: Google Analytics 4 (loaded through Google Tag Manager) and PostHog product analytics.
c) Functional cookies
These remember your preferences and choices, such as language, theme or saved dashboards, so the experience is more personal. If a function cannot work without them, they count as strictly necessary. Otherwise we set them only if you accept them.
Example: interface customization settings.
d) Targeting and advertising cookies
These deliver ads and marketing messages that match your interests. They may track your browsing activity across websites. We set them only if you accept them.
Examples: Google advertising cookies (for example _gcl_au), set through Google's advertising features linked to our Google Analytics property.
e) Security cookies
These strengthen protection, detect fraudulent activity and safeguard your data.
Examples: login attempt monitoring, fraud detection cookies. These are strictly necessary where they cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in or security.
All of these types are in use, including Google Analytics, PostHog and Google advertising cookies.
4. Why we use cookies

5. Third-party cookies

- Google sign-in and wallet connection. If you use Google sign-in or connect a crypto wallet, Google or the wallet provider may set their own cookies or storage when you use those features.

We store your cookie choice on your device. This is strictly necessary and needs no consent. We do not control third-party cookies directly. Each third party's own privacy policy governs how it uses them.
6. Managing cookies
You can accept, decline or manage non-essential cookies at any time. Your options:
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies.
- Cookie banner. On your first visit you see a banner with Accept, Decline and Preferences. Non-essential cookies are set only after you choose Accept. Decline is as easy as Accept.
- Cookie preferences. The footer link "Cookie preferences" reopens the banner choices at any time. You can accept or decline again.
- Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as an opt-out of all non-essential tracking (analytics and advertising): we do not load our analytics or advertising tags at all.

8. Data retention
Cookies stay on your device for different lengths of time:
- Session cookies. Deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies. Kept until they expire or you delete them.
Cookie list. Verified on 2026-10-10 by loading tabmydata.com and app.tabmydata.com (landing and sign-in page) after Accept and after Decline. Durations are those observed; browsers cap long cookies (Chrome at 400 days).
