Take a break
Step away from your screen with a built-in 15-minute break timer that locks the platform until your break is over.
What is Take a break?
Take a break is a built-in feature that encourages you to step away from the screen. When started, it locks the platform for 15 minutes so you can rest without distraction. The break overlay stays on screen until the timer ends and you close it.
How to start a break
You can start a break from two places:
• Toolbar — click the coffee cup icon in the workspace toolbar • Dashboard sidebar — click "Take a break" in the main navigation sidebar
A confirmation dialog will appear. Click "Take a break" to confirm and start the 15-minute timer.
During your break
The platform is locked with a full-screen overlay for the duration of the break. You will not be able to interact with any charts or data until the break ends.
Ending your break
When the 15 minutes are up, click the close button on the overlay to return to your workspace. The platform does not unlock automatically — you must click to dismiss.
