How to create a Tabmydata account

To create a Tabmydata account, go to the sign-up page and choose Continue with Google, Continue with Wallet or Email & password. Then verify your email if you used one and open your first workspace. Sign-up takes about a minute. Tabmydata is free during Alpha, and you do not need a card.

How do I open the sign-up page?

  1. Go to https://app.tabmydata.com/auth. In the demo, you can also open the user menu in the top bar.
  2. The Create your account card shows three choices: Continue with Google, Continue with Wallet and Email & password.

How do I sign up with Google?

  1. Click Continue with Google.
  2. Choose your Google account and allow Tabmydata to see your name and email.

How do I sign up with a wallet?

  1. Click Continue with Wallet.
  2. Follow your wallet's prompt.

The wallet is only a way to sign in.

How do I sign up with email?

  1. Open Email & password.
  2. Enter your name, your email address, a strong password, and the password again under Confirm password.
  3. Tick the box to agree to the Terms of Use.
  4. Click Create account.

After Create account, check your email and verify your address. Then you can open your first workspace.

What do I do after I sign up?

  1. Open your first workspace from the Dashboard. See Create your first workspace.
  2. Add tabs with + on the tool rail. See What is Tabmydata? for the tabs you can add.
  3. Add your name, avatar and links later in your profile. See Edit your profile and avatar.

How do I sign in later?

On the same page, click Sign in under the card ("Already have an account?"). The sign-in card is titled Log in or sign up and offers the same Google and Wallet buttons plus an email field with Continue. Use Forgot password? on the sign-in card if you need a reset link.

Is it free to sign up for Tabmydata?

Yes. Tabmydata is free during Alpha, and you do not need a card. See Plans and limits.

Can I sign up without a Google account?

Yes. Use Email & password, or Continue with Wallet.

Can I try Tabmydata without an account?

Yes. Open the demo workspace. Edits there are temporary, so sign up to keep your work.

What does "User already exists. Use another email." mean?

An account already uses that email. Sign in instead, or use another email.

I didn't get a verification email. What should I do?

Check your spam or junk folder, then contact support.

How do I reset my Tabmydata password?

On the sign-in card, click Forgot password?, enter your email and follow the link we send you.

Can I change my nickname later?

Yes, in your profile. See Edit your profile.
