How to get an alert before a stock market opens or closes
To get a stock market open alert, use New alert in the Alerts tab and pick the market session trigger. You choose the session and the timing, then arm it. Nothing is armed until you arm it.

How do I set a market session alert?
- Open the Alerts tab and click New alert. A panel opens on the right.
- Pick the market session trigger, Market Clock.
- Choose the session, when it fires and the lead time. For example, pick London.
- Click Arm it to switch the alert on. Close the panel instead and nothing is armed.
To see which markets are open now and when each one changes, use the Market Clock. The Market Clock shows the sessions. The alert itself is set in the Alerts tab.
How do I see, edit or stop the alert?
Click Rules in the Alerts tab. The list shows everything that is armed. Edit changes a rule, Mute silences it and Delete removes it. Back to the feed returns to the feed.
How do I keep nights quiet?
Click the gear in the Alerts tab. Repeat protection pings once when the same rule fires again within a short time, and Quiet hours keep nights silent. You also choose how it reaches you there. Changes save as you make them. See Alert settings.
