How to set up crypto alerts

You set crypto alerts from the tab you are on, then manage every alert in the Alerts tab. Click New alert, pick a ready trigger such as a market session opening or news on a topic you follow, or follow a Hyperliquid wallet, or switch on whale alerts. Then choose how it reaches you: in the app, by email, by push or in your Discord.

Nothing is armed until you arm it. Product overview: crypto alerts.

What can I set an alert for?

  • Before a market session opens or closes, with Market Clock.
  • When news publishes on a topic you follow, with News.
  • When a Hyperliquid wallet you follow opens or closes a position. See Follow Hyperliquid wallets and get alerts.
  • Large buys and sells on Hyperliquid (whale alerts). See Whale alerts.

How do I create an alert in the Alerts tab?

  1. Add the Alerts tab: Add a tab, then Tools, then Alerts. See How to use the Alerts tab.
  2. Open the My Alerts sub-tab and click New alert. A panel opens on the right, titled Arm a new alert.
  3. Pick one of the ready triggers, or use the search box ("What do you want to be told about?"). To set a price alert, use New alert here.
  4. Choose how it reaches you. See Alert settings.

The search box looks up the triggers that exist. It is not a sentence parser, so a free-text phrase may read "Nothing here watches that yet." Price alerts are set with New alert in the Alerts tab, as described in the FAQ below.

Tip: the first time you open the Alerts tab a hint says "Nothing is armed until you arm it. Pick a trigger from New alert, or follow a wallet in Hyperliquid."

How do I follow a Hyperliquid wallet instead?

  1. In the Alerts tab, open the Hyperliquid sub-tab. The same button now reads Follow a trader.
  2. Or open the Hyperliquid Whale Tracker tab and favourite a trader there.

Full steps: Follow Hyperliquid wallets and get alerts.

How do I turn on whale alerts?

Open the Whale Alerts sub-tab and switch WHALE ALERTS on. The COIN row (All, BTC, ETH, SOL, HYPE) and the size bar (All, $20M, $35M, $50M) filter what you see.

How do I cancel an alert?

On an alert card, click the bin, "Cancel this alert". To clear what you have already read, use Clear what I have read at the bottom of the list.

How do I choose where an alert goes?

Click the gear in the Alerts tab. Under HOW IT REACHES ME choose In the app, Toast on the canvas, Sound, Email (wallets you follow only), Push or Discord webhook (Hyperliquid wallets and whales only). News and reminders come by push and toast. To cut repeats, use Repeat protection, Batch the small ones and Quiet hours (23:00 to 07:00) in the same panel. Steps: Alert settings.

In short, an alert can reach you in the app, as a toast on the canvas, with a sound, by email (wallets you follow), by browser push, and in Discord by webhook (Hyperliquid wallets and whales). Telegram is a separate public channel for market-wide alerts.
