How to edit the top bar widgets
Add, remove, reorder and resize the widgets in the top bar, such as the clock, market sessions and coin prices, so they stay visible over any layout.
On this page
The top bar sits above every workspace. Its widgets keep a few numbers in view while you move around the canvas. For the other top bar buttons (Help, Search, alerts, notifications, messages), see Sidebar and top bar.
What is the top bar for?
The top bar sits above every workspace, so whatever you put in it stays in view while you move around the canvas. It suits numbers you glance at all day and do not want a whole tab for: the time, which markets are open, the price of a coin.
Which widgets can I add?
- Clock: the time in your chosen zone.
- Market sessions: which stock markets are open now. It is the compact version of Market Clock.
- A coin price: pick any coin, for example BTC.
- Favourite coins: the coins you saved.
- Next calendar release: the next scheduled event from the Financial Calendar.
How do I enter edit mode?
- Click Edit the widgets in the bar at the end of the top bar.
- The widgets start to wiggle and show remove and resize handles.
How do I add, move or remove a widget?
- In edit mode, click + and pick a widget: clock, market sessions, a coin price, favourite coins or the next calendar release.
- Drag a widget to reorder it.
- Click its remove handle to take it off the bar.
- Click Done to leave edit mode.
How do I resize a widget?
In edit mode, each widget shows a resize handle. Drag it to make the widget wider or narrower, then click Done.
