Send messages, add friends, manage requests and block users on Tabmydata. Everything about the social side of the platform in one place.
Messages is the social side of Tabmydata. You can chat with friends from a quick chat panel that opens over your workspace, so your tabs stay where they are, and the Friends area is where you find members, answer requests and manage who can reach you. This section is for anyone who wants to message another member, keep their friends list tidy, or stop someone from contacting them.

- How messages work: open Messages from the top bar, see your conversations with an unread count, and use the Friends tab (All, Requests, Search, Blocked).
- How to send a message: type in the box at the bottom, add emoji or an attachment, reply to a message, and edit or delete your own.
- How to add and manage friends: search for a member, send or answer a friend request, see who is online and remove a friend.

Frequently asked questions
Can I chat without leaving my workspace?
Yes. The quick chat panel opens from the Messages icon in the top bar, over your workspace.
How do I stop new friend requests?
Switch off Allow Friend Requests in your Social settings. See "How to turn friend requests on or off".
How do I stop getting email about new messages?
Switch the Messages email off in your notification settings.
