How to arrange tabs in your workspace
To arrange tabs in Tabmydata, click Arrange on the tool rail (or press L) and pick a layout: Tidy, Columns, Rows, Lead + strip, Two-up or Sidebar. Your open tabs repack at once and none of them is closed. You can also drag and resize each tab by hand.

What you can do
- Pack all open tabs with Tidy, Columns, Rows, Lead + strip, Two-up or Sidebar.
- Drag a tab by its title bar and resize it from the corner.
- Fit every tab in view, and find a tab with the minimap.
- Start from a ready-made desk.
How do I arrange tabs with one click?
- Click Arrange on the tool rail, or press L.
- Pick a layout. You can also press its number while the menu is open:
- Tidy: resets each tab to its natural size and packs them.
- Columns: tabs side by side, full height.
- Rows: tabs stacked, full width.
- Lead + strip: one tab on top, the rest beneath it.
- Two-up: two columns, filling downward.
- Sidebar: one tab to work in, with the readouts beside it.
- The tabs move into the layout. Every tab stays open.
The menu stays open after you pick a layout, so you can try many in a row. Press Esc to close it. The keys 1 to 6 also work without opening the menu: press the number to apply that layout straight away. The new positions are saved with the workspace.
Tip: in Workspace settings, under Layout and grid, the same set of layouts is listed, and the fourth one is named Lead and support there. See Workspace settings.
How do I move and resize a tab by hand?
- Grab the tab by its title bar and drag it. Release.
- Drag the handle in the bottom-right corner to resize it. A second handle at the bottom ("Drag to change the tab height") changes the height only.
There is no maximise button. To give one tab more room, drag its corner, or use the Magnifier to enlarge a small area without resizing. See Tab controls.
How do I bring every tab into view?
- Click Fit every tab in view in the bottom bar.
- Click - or + to zoom (each click changes the zoom by about 20%, up to 200%), or press 0 to return to 100%.
How do I find a tab on a large canvas?
- Read the tab count under the minimap, for example "11 tabs".
- Click list and pick a tab by name, or click its box in the minimap.
See Create a workspace.
How do I start from a ready-made desk?
- Open Workspace settings, then Layout and grid.
- Pick a desk: BTC depth, One chart wide, ETH swing, Events and news or Sentiment scan. It opens its tabs and arranges them. Your open tabs are kept.
If no tabs are open, the section reads "Nothing is open - a layout needs tabs to arrange."
How do I close all tabs?
Click Close all tabs in the bottom bar. The box "Clear all tabs?" asks you to confirm: choose Yes to clear the canvas or Cancel to keep working. There is no Undo for this. To close just one, click its x. A "<Tab> closed" message with Undo appears for that one. See Create a workspace.
