The liquidation heatmap is a layer you add to a futures chart in the Charts tab. It shows modeled price levels where leveraged positions could be forced to close. Let's see how to use it.
Open Indicators. Under Events, find TMD Liquidation Heatmap Model 1. Add it, and the levels appear behind the candles. Use it on a futures chart.
Each colored cell is a modeled level, estimated from the candles. Brighter cells are stronger levels. Dimmer cells are weaker. Hover a level to read its price.
The gear on its row opens the layer settings. Switch the layer off, and the candles are plain. Switch it on, and the levels return.
In settings, start with the colors. Five colors run from the weakest cell, through the medium ones, to the strongest.
Threshold is the minimum strength a cell needs to show. Raise it, and the weak levels disappear. Strength gives the strong ones more weight.
Theme changes the palette. The same levels, in new colors. Leverages lists the leverage levels the model simulates.
The timeframe changes what the model reads. Hourly or daily, it recalculates from those candles. Back to fifteen minutes.
The range follows what you see on the chart. Zoom out, and the layer spreads across more history. Zoom in to focus on recent candles.
Hover its name in the chart legend. The eye hides it. Click again to show it. At the bottom of settings, Remove deletes the layer. Switching it off keeps your settings instead. Free during Alpha.
